Welcome to The Doubleclicks Archive

Hello! However it is you’ve come to find yourself here, I’m glad you are. 🙂

The mission of the archive is a simple one. To preserve as much of The Doubleclicks creative work and presence on the internet as is possible, and to be a place where the fruits of this collection can be shared, given context, and enjoyed by anyone who has an interest in the band and its history.

This project began in earnest in the fall of 2023, and has been steadily gathering Doubleclicks related materials ever since. Currently, much of my time and energies are still focused on that task. So for the time being, consider this website really more of just a teaser of what’s coming, a place for me to experiment and flesh out some ideas, and an opportunity to share some collections of raw data that I hope will bring back fond memories for fans and friends of the band alike.

In the longer term, once the bulk of this remaining acquisition work is done, things will shift towards interconnecting all the information contained within the archive. With the ultimate goal being to bring the archive from just a vast collection of various Doubleclicks related whatevers, to something that can be used and enjoyed as anything from a fan site, to a genuine research tool, and everything in between.

In addition to this website, The Doubleclicks Archive also has a social media presence on Bluesky that echos some of what you’ll find here, and a YouTube channel where content from the archive that no longer exists elsewhere on the internet can be enjoyed.

Have fun, and check back often. This is just the beginning!
